Human Resources, Safety & Marketing Assistant (Full-Time Battle Creek Location)
  • Assist Human Resources/Safety Manager with daily/monthly tasks, management, regulatory reporting, and training of employee Human Resources & Safety programs
  • Assist Marketing Manager with marketing promotions, advertising, special events
  • Assist with design/development of advertising & marketing media including social media, website, graphic design, newsletters, videography
  • Welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientation
  • Coordinator of wellness program, employment recruiting events and company career fairs
  • Assist other departments as needed with various recordkeeping and seasonal needs
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree/Bachelor's Degree in relatd field with understanding of agricultural business industry
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills with positive presentation of self and the company towards employees and the public
  • Time management-task & multiple project management
  • Expectation to maintain confidentiality in matters relating to HR

Summer Agronomy Internships - various locations available
  • Assisting sales staff with crop scouting/tissue sampling/field applications
  • Assist sales staff in customer crop planning/recommendations
  • Assist in preparation of test plot
  • Operation of 4-wheeler/gator for field work
  • Grid-sampling/soil sampling as directed
  • Deliver fertilizer and chemicals to floater operators
  • Operate forklift in warehouse
  • Mowing, trimming, and general upkeep of facility
  • Ability to obtain Seasonal CDL license
  • Experience in agriculture preferred
Agronomy/Grain Operations – Full-time & Seasonal openings available
(Newman Grove - Pierce - Battle Creek - Plainview - Osmond)
  • Deliver fertilizer and chemicals to floater operators
  • Loading/Unloading of chemicals and fertilizers at location
  • Loading/Unloading grain from customer trucks and wagons
  • Maintenance/repair of agronomy & grain equipment & facilities
  • Operate forklift in warehouse
  • Assist customer loading/unloading feed, oil, agronomy products for customers
  • Mowing, trimming, and general upkeep of facility
  • CDL required
  • Experience in agriculture preferred

Energy Delivery & Service (Fuel/LP)- Oakland Location
This position is responsible for sales and delivery of petroleum within defined customer base. Incluldes inventory control of oil and fuel products. Other responsibilities include assisting the propane personnel when necessary and all activities within the department consistent with the corporate objectives, purpose, and mission of the company. 
  • Delivery of fuel and LP to new customers.
  • Delivery of fuel and LP to scheduled/route delivery customers.
  • Maintain records of all deliveries and submit to office staff.
  • Maintenance and repair of bulk fuel & LP facilities and equipment.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance and repairs to delivery equipment.
  • Mowing, trimming, and general upkeep of bulk fuel & LP facilities.
  • Installation/repair of customer tanks consistent with regulatory specifications.
  • Communication of service work orders necessary to appropriate service manager.
  • Monitoring bulk fuel & LP tanks and products at assigned facility.
  • Inventory control of oil and fuel products.
  • Packaging of oil products at warehouse.
  • Coordination of deliveries with other locations.
Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
  • Required: Previous experience in agricultural or petroleum/energy industry.
  • Previous experience in customer delivery and service.
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience.
  • Developed communication and people skills.
  • Preferred: Current Commerical Drivers License with Hazmat Endorsement.
  • Preferred: Current NPGA Certification- Propane Basic and Delivery.
